ABOUT US

Angie Peter, founder and CEO of the Academy of Nurturing Guidance, Instruction & Education (ANGIE), is an early childhood education specialist, education consultant, and ECE trainer. She has a BA in Child Development, MA in Education, and is a credentialed teacher with over 15 years of experience in education. She also holds a CLASS certification, child care administrator credential, and is an infant toddler specialist for the state of Texas.

Her work includes mentoring for Texas Rising Star in which she has assisted many centers across the Houston metropolitan area to improve their systems which led to substantial increases to their revenues. She is well sought out by directors for her effective cross-cultural communication and strong mentorship skills which led to her supporting about 200 new and seasoned teachers. As an Infant Toddler Specialist, she provides virtual and in person workshops and training that includes social emotional skills, classroom management, and child development.

As a credentialed teacher, Angie understands the perspective of teachers and provides coaching to prevent burnout. She is also a mom of two and is focused on programs that will increase parental engagement.
